The Wayzata Soccer Club will once again be offering a summer league for 2010. This program has become one of the premier soccer venues for kids ages 5 to 8 years old in the Plymouth, Wayzata, and surrounding communities.
We continue to hear some positive feedback from parents and players regarding the organization, training and overall quality of our program.
Wayzata Soccer Club Winter Skills 2010 Session 3
Striker / Goalie
All U9/U10 boys and girls teams are scheduled to attend a 6 weeks session with Tony Peszneker. All sessions will be held on Monday nights from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Plymouth Dome. Please contact your coach or team manager if you are unable to attend these sessions. If a coach or team manager has not been assigned to your team, please contact Nour Aboussir or Heidi Nickel at futurestars@wayzatasoccerclub.org.
There will be a mandatory meeting for all team managers and coaches for U9/U10 on Thursday, January 14th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Plymouth Lunds (upstairs meeting room)
We will discuss the upcoming soccer season with updates on skills, practices, league, tournaments, rosters, uniforms, forms, and other misc soccer items. Please contact Nour Aboussir with any questions.

Wayzata Soccer Club Winter Skills 2010 Session 2
Short Sided drills and games
Wayzata winter skills Session 2 will be starting in January. This session will deal with the tactical and technical aspects of dealing with certain numerical situations that players will encounter throughout their games. This six week session will be all about small sided games and drills. We will cover 1v1, 2v1, 2v2, 3v2, 3v3 and 3v1. Sign up soon as space is limited. Look for our favorite striker/goalie sessions to start after session 2.
The Wayzata Soccer Club has hired the services of Nic Platter, Goalkeeper trainer to work with goalkeepers from U11 to U18 teams.
Because of the individual attention that each of these training sessions require, we are limiting each team to only send their starting goalkeeper (1 keeper per team). Each session is limited to up 12 keepers for U11 thru U14 and 8 keepers for U15 thru U18.
